  6. It does not allow you to vote in the poll if you do not select options form both polls.
  7. I have been doing the stans tubeless conversion for 1 year now in the first 6 months I had the same problem having to pump up the tires every 4 days and Sealant leaking out of the sidewall every now and then. One day I was inspecting the sidewall of my tire and saw that there was a line running on the tire about 5mm for the edge of the rim but in 2 places the line was less than 5mm form the rim almost going into the rim, I then realized that although it looked like it seated and the tire was keeping its pressure the tire had not seated properly. I used a tire leaver to work a bit on the tire where it was not seating properly deflated it and inflating it again had to do this about 3 time until everything seated properly. Now no more sealant leaking out and tires keeps pressure for 2 weeks and then only lose max 0.5 bar.
  8. I bought a on-one 456 frame and a On-One Regular Headset from kiwi. I had a problem with play on the headset which I could not figure out. I took the bike to him and he confirmed that everything was correctly installed, and that the headset was working correctly. He suggested it could be the star nut. So he gave me a bung to try, this worked like a charm. Thank you Wayne for the excellent service, and better than excellent after sale service!!! Will recommend buying from planet-X any time!!

  18. I am building a MTB and am looking at buying Shimano XT dual control brakes/shifters was wondering how easy they are to get use to, difference between normal shifters/breaks.<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> I am also looking at buying to Shimano XT rear derailleur rapid rise, was wandering wat is the difference between rapid rise and normal rear derailleur?s, and the difference between medium and long cage rear derailleur?s and which one should I get medium or long cage. And lastly I am looking at XT front derailleur conventional, dual pull, this seems the easiest to buy as I am unsure If I should use a top swing or bottom swing front derailleur, I may have it all wrong but I think I need a top swing, as the cable is routed from the top, in the frame that I am getting, but seems easier to buy the dual pull as I am ordering the frame with the parts. Is their any disadvantages to using the dual pull derailleur.

  21. Hi I don't know if this has been asked before but I recently acquired a slight back problem, (a disk in my back shifted) it is all healing quite nicely, so would like to know what if any difference does a soft tail make on your back? I was riding a super heavy hard tail with a suntour shock, I bought a reba for the bike and some lighter components but thinking of also goiing the soft tail way!
  22. <?: prefix = v ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:vml" /><?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />On Saturday mornings their is two groups and the other group goes even slower so just check it out and the group is very accommodating to lady cyclist.
  23. QUOTE=Mandibles] I am a member of a club but have never attended any of the group rides. I'm a mtb'er and their "slow" group avg is advertised as up to 20km/h which is faster than I think I am capable of. I mentioned this to the club when they sent out a survey asking for feedback. Novices are not catered for at many clubs it seems. Hi Mandibles where in Gauteng do you live if it is in Pta. you should check out epic cycles club rides you don?t even have to be a club member all are welcome and the pace is the pace of the slowest rider for te day, the object is to have fun, get to know other cyclist "fun riders" The usual group avg is around 17km/h <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
