Thanks for that data LWB, I am just left wondering what that 'management' number actually represents, it looks high to me relative to the operation. More managers than pilots?. Is it because the 'management' are higher up the pecking order and their privilaged positions are being preserved? Or will the organisation really need that number of managers? or is the BMF calling the shots? What we should be seeing is a process whereby all positions are looked at: skills and performance assessments, organisational needs, etc which should lead to who should be kept on board, and who not. At least that would happen in the real world, Instead here 'they' wish to see a 'transformed' organisation emerge, even though almost all attempts to date at such transformation have led to total organisational failures.

Its as clear as jade .. on going drama devoid of logic and reason, It seems its at the stage where there are trying to find 'investors' to cough up the R10 blllion + required for the approved rescue plan at the same time its been stated that "equal employment metrics will be more important than seniority" ..you know where that is going. I can't see any major international investor investing in an organisation that is not employing the right people for the job. Unless there is crookedness involved.

That was a fantastic and well deserved win! not often the guy made to do the pullin in the last 500m of a breakaway gets to win, albeit by half a wheel. And that crazy descent ... he was 100% in control though, beautiful bike handling. JAP was a bit more on the wild side, bien joué to him for being magnanimous in defeat. I enjoyed the descent through those mountains to the coast, need to watch it all again later today.

I've found that it's not possible to sign up for either here legitimately: for the Eurosport sub if you don't have a UK based credit / debit card you cant proceed to pay, not sure about GCN but without a VPN to the UK from ur phone / tablet you don't even get the option to sign up (app only), and I am sure they will implement the same payment gateway geofencing since its basically Eurosport as well With Getflix you watch Rai, otherwise its pirate streams.

The problem with a Eurosport player sub as Gen mention is paying for it - they won't accept a card that is not registered in the UK or wherever you try an address. I have tried (and tried hard) to find a way, including virtual card services, and have not succeed, the only way it seems it to lean on a pal in the UK and ask them to help las you their card details and you refund them. Or maybe someone has found a way to get a legit sub??? On the GCN front they seem to filter your options based on country, hence i can not find a way of paying. Maybe a VPN will help but their service is a collaboration with Eurosport so perhaps they control it by payment source as well. I use Getflx not a VPN. What a pathetic situation: I am happy to pay a reasonable amount for a legit decent service but it seems it is not possible here, thanks to the media monopoly that is what it is, that i will not support. So pirate streams it seems.

I saw some interesting traffic on FR24 a few evenings ago, I think it was a AF 777 that left on 03L and then almost immediately an inbound Emirates or Qatar 777 land on 21R (that is the same runway!) - maybe the change to active happened immediately but the inbound was on long finals for 21R from the get-go. WTF. There are quite a few 777's coming and going, I assume freight.,

If its real its really stupid - even symmetrically, will effect drag, flight characteristic like stall speed etc

To add to the reply above, and going by the preliminary report (see below) they came in way too high and way too fast (unstable approach), fumbled about with the landing gear (it didn't go down initially because of high speed, then they selected it up before landing), ignored all warnings and advice from ATC, and then on top of it attempted a go-around after a belly landing! PIA has now been suspended from EU airspace for 6 months.

His attention to detail is incredible, and that A350 is looking superb, first flight imminent. He lives in Germany but not where he comes from, haven't quite placed his accent as yet.
