  1. Somethings broken with times. I am listed as 1B but started 1A, My time is 2min faster than I actually did too.
  2. Also in 1A. Narrowly avoided the 1st crash. The first part till Smits was not fun. I barely drank anything because every second felt like something was going to happen. Just had to focus on what was going on around me. I managed the first group over Smits and from that point it was fine but I don't think I have felt this unsafe in a group that I can remember. Maybe my memory is a bit foggy but jeez man. That was something else. My friend also said they had same issues in &.
  3. So if I understand this correctly. If you did not have a racing licence you would be starting in @ as it is 40-49 + Seeded and you would then have fallen under the seeded part? I might be misunderstanding.
  4. I sent them a mail asking about this now. Lets see what they say. Will post update here when/if they respond.
  5. The Tour de PPA entries only close on Monday so if someone already got their seeding and entered the Tour de PPA now would they then also fall part of the seeding run again at the end of the month?
  6. Anyone who has ridden the Cycle Tour route recently or part of it, have you encountered any danger zones in regards to potholes, road works etc. that we need to look out for? I know last year there was a couple bad ones that I did not know of before hand which would have been handy.

Going to races for me is not the issue. It is just too expensive. I live 50 - 80kms away from most races. I know for some even being that far away paying the race fee and taking petrol into account is nothing but others can't. Realistically yes, Racetec can't look and verify everyones 3rd party data. Will be a nightmare for them but once in awhile making an exception would be nice. My frustration lies in the 99er last weekend. Started in 2nd last group. Did a 2:59 and finshed infront of group D, E and more than half of group C. Yet got a Argus seeding of 1E while friends that finished behind me and started in the front groups that ride are starting 1A and 1B in the Argus cause one of their other rides managed to not get bullied to much by the magic seeding calculator. It is what it is but can't help feeling frustrated.

Pretty frustrating to start 2 or 3 groups behind guys you train with that can't hang on to your wheel on training rides just cause they get "lucky" by doing all the races in a year and one gets them a really good seeding calculation. I mean yes i could do all the races but it is expensive if you live far away from the rides. Sucks that racetec doesn't take Strava etc. data into account.
  9. Was a great ride. Ended up starting in T. Basically did a TT for just under 3 hours. Got some help from a E-Bike after Vissershok (That e-bike goes btw). Eventually got dropped by the e-bike after 20mins hanging on. Picked up a P, S and L guy later on. We 4 then worked together till almost at the end when they could not hang on anymore. Was good fun. Shoutout to the P, S and L guys for the help!
  10. Just got mine. Starting in C. Not sure if that is good or bad. How do you check all the starting groups?
  11. I found it hard. Did the long one with 2 laps. Legs were hurting a lot by the end and up that kicker.
  12. Stage 7 done. Route was way harder than I anticipated, especially that leg snapper midway through. Hurt a lot! Good luck to those that still need to do Stage 7.
  13. I remember that. Index for A at one point was 0 - 5. Never managed to make it myself. Got very close but getting 3 to average out below 5 was difficult. Although then we had like 2 races a weekend so you had a lot of chances but I never manged to make it. Not sure if i will make it in the new system but don't think so.
  14. I am not 100% sure but my guess is that you are actually not a Cat C racer based on w/kg and got a DQ for the other races you did. Zwift works on w/kg groups for the races for example the groups are as follows: (Sorry for formatting, just copied it from the website) ZwiftPower Historic CategoryA+ 4.6wkg and 300w FTP; A 4.0wkg and 250w FTP; B 3.2wkg and 200w FTP; C 2.5wkg and 150w So thus 0 - 2.5w/kg is D Cat; 2.5w/kg - 3.2w/kg is C Cat etc. Normally your 1st race on Zwift is going to determine your Cat. Not sure if these are your 1st races but lets assume so. That would explain why only 1 stage counted which would have been the 1st one. That probably put you at a w/kg of above 3.2w/kg which meant you should then have started stage 2 in Cat B or you would have gotten a DQ. Your current Cat will be displayed on your profile. For example if you look at my profile below you will see top left it shows your Cat plus position in Cat and some other w/kg info. https://www.zwiftpower.com/profile.php?z=204625 Hope this helps! Side note: You are allowed to race in a Cat above your current one just not a Cat lower. It is like this so that a 5+w/kg oak cant start in D Cat all the time and just win all the races.
  15. Tour has been tough but good fun so far. Looking forward to the last stage though. Not seen it mentioned yet but you can check your GC standing on https://www.zwiftpower.com/events.php. At the top click on leagues and then select TdZ Open Ride or Race whichever one you did all your stages in.
