I do 21km's each way........twice a week. I vary the ride....sometimes easy going.....somtimes do a portion as interval/sprint training counting lamp-posts......

A different perspective.......I was assisting/supporting one of the "ice-cream bikes".......We were asking people to keep left...or right as the bike did not have brakes, so unable to stop. So - we thought it a necessary courtesy to kinda warn people we coming through. Also - these bikes are not easy to swerve if necessary in an emergency. So, it was not meant to be rude or disrespetful to the other riders, but to be forewarned of a group coming through due to the awkward nature of this bike. No harm meant so apologies if it sounded harsh at times. Bear in mind if we coming from behind, we neede to raise our voice so the person in front of us could hear. Whenever we passed someone after they had moved over, we always said thanks vey much........Yes - these "bikes" were a challenge to ride/steer. Our cart - the seat post collapsed as well.

Spectrum Sport have yet to prove themselves as a reliable timer of MTB events. I have had two experiences where my times were incorrect. One of the times involved a "placing" and financial reward in my catergory. SS corrected, monies paid over, but not even an apology. Me thinks they have "connections" that is why they are used more often than not. I have to concur that events in KZN are well timed, accurate,quick and efficient.

Are you sure you were not paid to take the pic & shirt.......LOL...just joking. But not in the same league and cannot even compare the circumstances. People want to judge a person on this one "deed", and quickly forget what huge contribution has and still is making to various charities........never mind the awareness to cycling and cyclists in general.

C'mon guys. This is getting sick/out of hand. If this was done and seen by fellow competitors, it should be reported to the powers that be to take the necessary action against this pig. Good day Ya'All - Just a thought - why not create a "Christain" or "Religious" forum where people who need to speak about praying/bible and stuff can post. Well done to this youngster....I think he is brilliant. I did not for a moment think anything wrong with the routine..... When Ian made the comment - I thought "WTF!!" From what age are these "moves" acceptable??!! It is the "adults" who see things/interpret things done out of the innocence of youth. Who are the real pervs...........?
