  3. if an invoice is under Eur 6,000.00 and the goods are of actual true EU origin, the supplier simply needs to include the following statement and he must stamp and sign next to it on the invoice. "the exporter of the products covered by this document declares that, except where otherwise clearly indicated, the products are of EU/German preferential origin" Then your can apply for the preferential rate of duty. For bicycles this would be 0% but then the grey area comes in as to how much of the parts needs to be of EU origin to be deemed as true EU origin.
  4. or that Erik Kleinhans rides for Topeak-Canyon since 2016?

  7. does this mean the official distributor that blocks you from buying online doesn't actually carry the product that they're the agents for?

  10. Remember seeing the pics of the alloy pieces (of the Zula) that were shipped in from the East to be welded at Morewood in PMB, the raw alloy frame parts where hydroformed etc there and then welded and painted here. Possibly some cutting was done, not sure....

  16. Awesome achievement, seems there's nothing these two cant do. But I remember reading Rebecca Rusch doing this? Apr 27, 2016An Unsupported Mountain Bike Ride of Kilimanjaro Earlier this year, adventurer Patrick Sweeney teamed up with professional mountain biker Rebecca Rusch to attempt something that's only been done once in history: climb and descend Mount Kilimanjaro on mountain bikes. To make things even more interesting, the two decided to keep the mission totally self-supported, meaning they didn't accept help from porters, or from medicine to help with altitude sickness. The goal of the expedition was to raise one dollar for every foot of climbing they did (that's $19,240) for World Bicycle Relief, a charity that builds burly bikes for folks living in remote areas throughout Africa.

  22. nice
  23. you mean the post office, nothing "lies at customs" - customs don't have your package. once the declaration is submitted to customs, its released (or detained) in a matter of minutes or at the worse a few hours. most of the time its all electronic with a risk profile engine and no office even sees the paperwork, let alone the actual package.
  24. where were all of you when I couldn't sell my Soma frames????
