I Agree. You can't really generalize, on our training ride Saturday morning on North Reef Road here in the East Rand there came a MTBer past us, he didn't greet, he skipped red robots and even failed to acknowledge us after passing him and trying to greet for the second time. You get all sorts in both road riding and mountain biking.

I personally like bibs more as they cover my nipples I tend to get nipple rash from normal cycling jerseys scarfing me so the bibs cover my nipples and it keeps me from chafing.

I enjoyed the race I just wish the shorter distance riders can finish on their own I don't understand how the longer distance riders and shorter distance riders finish the same as on that last major climb the shorter distance riders clogged up the climb and didn't want to move over so the faster bunches can come through , even people stopping and dismantling to push their bikes on the right side of the road no chance of passing for the faster guys ... messing up the chances of a good finishing time a bit but otherwise lekke tough race.

I have also been using GU on events and I actually want to know does it really make such a difference if racing without it can't the same be achieved using for instance peanut butter bars or just plain energy drinks or race fuel I mean do you really need that much sugar and do you really use up all that sugar during a race if you say use 3 GU's during a 100km road race ? Any ideas/remarks/suggestions welcome.

I agree bought mine from Mr Price Sports as well , but yes cycling will make you drop the weight if you watch what you eat , and only cheat while on the bike , I started cycling a year ago weighing in at 108kg ... currently sitting at 75 kg ... so yes cycling works.

I agree , also used to get sky-high accounts , never consistent , 1 month up 1 month down which proved the point they are using guesstimates... got a prepaid meter and problem solved , started managing and measuring my own consumption , no more surprises from Eksdom.

I am thinking of going the wireless route , is this option viable , I had the Blackburn wireless in the past and I know I used to get erratic out of the chart readings and interference on the unit sometimes , once got a max speed reading of 200km/h ! Is this also the case with the Cateye Strada Wireless or not ? Will it be best to stay wired ? What would you guys recommend ?
