Apparently you can run a road cassette with XX as far as i'm aware, as long as its 10speed. So SRAM Red Cassette 11-28 is R1700ish-ish. Campy Super Record Cassette is also in the 3K-plus range.

Guys sorry I've been away from internet access for a few days so have been on and off from my phone. If there's still going to a crowd I'm still keen for the ride I drive a white VW Caddy bakkie. Will be riding a black and white Schwinn and have seriously bright yellow shoes! (Will confirm tomorrow though... all depending if the LBS finishes the bike tommorow. Was there today and still having issues with new FD cable clearance)

guys it looks like everyone is bailing. Think its a good time to can this one for after fast one... also not sure if i'll make it either. GO helped put the bike together this afternoon with the sram grouppo but ran into issues with the shifting of the fd. If it's sorted, will be out with you guys on sat for a long slow one :-)
