  3. Not at all! Got the frame for R4000 (Scalpel 3000)' date=' Rock Shox SID Race Carbon (same as World Cup) for R3000. All in all, built up for under R15k. [/quote'] GEESH!!!!OK...I am pulling that comment back then, sorry.
  4. ek wil net weet waar is my geld!!!!
  5. 1. Because Burry Stander uses his GT i-Drive pretty successfully. That thing costs as much as a left testicle on the black market! 2. Because I've won XC and Marathon races in PE on my old Raleigh RDS 9.0 (12kg) You have talent that some of us does not have! 3. Because my new 10kg Cannondale Scalpel does one hell of a nice job in XC races. Gonna cost you an arm and a leg!
  6. Yes!! That is the most important pics of them all....
  7. A lot of people.....LBS, Cycling agents, etc.
  8. I still believe that woman should be in the kitchen cooking and cleaning the house...AND...not being on the bike!! *OK...will get my coat now!*

  12. You sure? He is actually a lovely kid, very calm and collected. Maar Oom Botha is 'n ander storie...........He can get cross if you do anything to his boys. Yip....few weeks ago he rode with his dad tandem....was in break cought the scratch +1 bunch....going lekker then the tandem goes between us busy driving the break then they sit up...asked if they could just roll through so that we can keep momentum up. All of a sudden....no comment! AuctionLamb2008-02-22 04:25:24
  13. Who is that CW Cycles dude behind Windbreaker?
  14. maybe because it is almost weekend and people get nurvous for weekend racing!!
  15. I think you're a little optimistic. Have a look at http://www.analyticcycling.com/ForcesLessWeight_Page.html A 1kg saving on a 5km climb of 5% gradient for a 70kg rider (@300w' date=' which is about race pace) will only save you 7secs. You guys are all missing the point - aero is far more important than weight. [/quote'] poena...just using this as an example....if this would help you I will change it....nice long hill (5km)....light bike maybe 7sec to 10sec........as to 1min to 2min to what people expect a light bike should do....so there is a diff but not a lot. just love it when people get so technical! AuctionLamb2008-02-21 07:37:06
  16. it actually does...but not a lot but it does make quiet a difference. Sounding a little confused there AL nice long hill (5km)....light bike maybe 30sec to 40sec........as to 3min to 4min what people expect a light bike should do....so there is a diff but not a lot
  17. To give you an idea of how bad the wind is; on my easy days I rather go out fom Durbanville and do Tiekiedraai climb from both sides rather than head out towards the silos' date=' because there is no way I can do that flat road into the southeaster and relax! Remember the 99er anyone? ...but it makes you stronger![/quote'] and the most boring road(silo's) too! AuctionLamb2008-02-21 06:05:13
  18. hah, more people between the gaps!!! so you're one of the ones setting the blistering pace?? nope...not me...might be Moolman...he has red sunnies
  19. nope...was busy spitting blood around the track suffering!!
  20. at least you make the spectators to come and watch worth their while!! who cares about the racing!!!
  21. you guys must have been at Killarney yesterday.....must have seen the amount of people who punctured there!!!! SCARY SHYTE!!!
