  1. then the next day have string around your ears connected to a pick n pay packet between your legs.
  2. I would update this for the following on your cv/profile: Year 2022? there no results in 2023 and 2024? W2W x 2 results for the same race/event You stated your excel in stage races but have no specific result other than "finish" and the ones that have a result posted is only day 1. Nothing for the rest.
  3. Sometimes yes. Sometimes no.
  4. Yes I dont think they do, they seem to read to read not read to understand like you have here. I would suggest looking at changing meds from crazy pills to Ritalin cause all I said as a general is not suggesting listening to BFJ. Unreal.
  5. I wouldnt go on much of anything Bike fitter James suggests in general. Maybe the battery he uses in his drill but thats about it
  6. Hoods do change and have. Example the new SRAM is 5mm longer than previous and shimano from Di2 11 to 12 is also longer at 4m. the difference of 8000 to di2 you asked is 8mm in length
  7. Just an Example of performance factors here - TDU which is an early season race, not super deep in depth but very competitive with short stages. For a short effort of 10min that you need to be competitive at to be in the mix for GC you need to be doing 10min at and over 7w/kg +. If not, you filling the field. However, also remember this is also after the stage and +- 3000kj or work which in WT level is not alot at all when you having to do this after 4000kj + in a GT and 20min at 6.5-6.8W/kg after this energy consumption multiple days at a WT level race or stage race. There is a big big difference here. Take all the durability, power into account, then you need to be able to surf and place in the peloton - this energy consuming wise is huge if you cant surf a peloton.
  8. The gap of the understanding of what the level of the Tour alone is, is that big for starters. Never mind any rider going Top 50. top 20 is another whole conversation
  9. Their roster is not full, he would do selected road races and selected XCO if this is his path
  10. Only pays more IF a team sees the value amount in the rider. In a case like this typically the MTB team pays the salary, not the road team. In some cases XCO can / does pay more. Can have the XCO rider not be better due to many variables. Cink is an example. Not everyone in XCO is Pidock and he doesnt transfer both ways
  11. I really thought “I told you so” would have made it into TheHub history… But alas.
  12. That thing was built for speed and made for endurance.
  13. Like myself, shouldn't of raced so much "back in the day" and bought **** we didnt need, we would be richer in todays times...
  14. Gravel Burn? Wonder if the winner gets a free entry to African Burn...
  15. No, this is the Gravel Stage race
  16. I remember Stefan doing these back in the day in and around Europe, I just was not aware of the format so to speak. To have that development pathway for kids is really good, Switzerland in general have a really good Development system for youth in MTB.
  17. Also please don't come with the facetious "I assumed with your experience" BS mate. Knowing what this is rule and format is vs knowing how to train someone for the discipline is 2 very different things. Again being a dick back at you, we would think then assume with the SA riders experience in MTB and DH arena that they would be well aware of how to qualify for worlds. Call me crazy. Lets not go there and keep this cool
  18. I wasnt proving **** wena, I was curious how this worked race wise cause in the end of the day, there would be a strategy to make it to the podium other than going faster than the guy next to you so was looking at this from a performance side.
  19. I saw now after being on YouTube, it's pretty awsome and the skill level follows. Looks more intense from a stand point. Thanks appreciate the background info.
