  1. Didnt know they had a solo category?
  2. 26th on World rankings 8th on Pro Team rankings Chances of any GT invite is almost/close to impossible regardless of having Italians in the team and my understanding Nibali is no longer connected.
  3. If they keep him longer than the required agreement from 3 parties whatver that deal was in total
  4. His salary isn’t fully paid by 36.5. Ineos is paying out a large chunk of his salary as an exit clause to 36.5 and the remainder is paid by the team. He takes his entourage with him including his brother as a package deal. just cause you have TP doesn’t mean automatic entry to a GT, they not even 3rd on PC ranking so automatic entries are not guaranteed off that alone and then for example he is not French so TDF wildcard is not really a reality for starters.
  5. Don’t believe everything you read on the internet. Especially this clown.
  6. Essentially the even has gone from a racing event to a corporate fun event with some teams trying to race. There is no issue with this but then everything must be taken into account. I heard yesterday the 12man team even is alive but it's when the last 12th person crosses the line, this may be 2hrs later, it's like a Lets get it done to make it worthwhile. To get 12 across at the same time is a hell of task, 1st or lat team in the category. The stops are also not for racing teams. Before there were none, the event was significantly more tactical and harder for racing teams. Bring this back? Make it a race team event on the Sunday? who knows but when you have this mix of teams there is always going to be problems and safety issues, however, sitting on my couch in my gown, Ive eaten marshmallows harder than this current DC format from Sunday. Still a great event but its changed as expected
  7. this type of no drafting rule
  8. Its a bianchi though...
  9. This reminds me of 20 whenever year when there was only 2 or 3 of you left by Optredouws when we started behind you
  10. then the next day have string around your ears connected to a pick n pay packet between your legs.
  11. I would update this for the following on your cv/profile: Year 2022? there no results in 2023 and 2024? W2W x 2 results for the same race/event You stated your excel in stage races but have no specific result other than "finish" and the ones that have a result posted is only day 1. Nothing for the rest.
  12. Sometimes yes. Sometimes no.
  13. Yes I dont think they do, they seem to read to read not read to understand like you have here. I would suggest looking at changing meds from crazy pills to Ritalin cause all I said as a general is not suggesting listening to BFJ. Unreal.
  14. I wouldnt go on much of anything Bike fitter James suggests in general. Maybe the battery he uses in his drill but thats about it
  15. Hoods do change and have. Example the new SRAM is 5mm longer than previous and shimano from Di2 11 to 12 is also longer at 4m. the difference of 8000 to di2 you asked is 8mm in length
  16. Just an Example of performance factors here - TDU which is an early season race, not super deep in depth but very competitive with short stages. For a short effort of 10min that you need to be competitive at to be in the mix for GC you need to be doing 10min at and over 7w/kg +. If not, you filling the field. However, also remember this is also after the stage and +- 3000kj or work which in WT level is not alot at all when you having to do this after 4000kj + in a GT and 20min at 6.5-6.8W/kg after this energy consumption multiple days at a WT level race or stage race. There is a big big difference here. Take all the durability, power into account, then you need to be able to surf and place in the peloton - this energy consuming wise is huge if you cant surf a peloton.
  17. The gap of the understanding of what the level of the Tour alone is, is that big for starters. Never mind any rider going Top 50. top 20 is another whole conversation
  18. Their roster is not full, he would do selected road races and selected XCO if this is his path
  19. Only pays more IF a team sees the value amount in the rider. In a case like this typically the MTB team pays the salary, not the road team. In some cases XCO can / does pay more. Can have the XCO rider not be better due to many variables. Cink is an example. Not everyone in XCO is Pidock and he doesnt transfer both ways
  20. I really thought “I told you so” would have made it into TheHub history… But alas.
