  1. With the responsibility that comes with being a coach and especially with young athletes who are in a very critical and sensitive development period of their athletic pathways and abilities, to not comment what I feel about this, takes alot of professionalism from my side.
  2. Oncoming car at the same time
  3. It is absolutely without a doubt unacceptable the behaviour of drivers on the roads to cyclists in SA. I will personally not ride a bike in SA on the roads but that is me. The authorities need to step in, harsher punishments and responsibilities and before that happens I am afraid I cannot see a positive change unfortunately. I have personally had a friend pass away due to being hit by a motorist not paying attention. Cyclists must as well follow rules, be aware of surrounding etc as 2 wrongs never make a right. I was in SA now for 5 days quickly, what I saw on how motorists drive left me with Tourette in the car and at the same breath, some cyclists also did not do themselves favours. Be safe out there to everyone is all I can say.
  4. Only things I’ve achieved in life is being a father to chaotic bullterrier. Ironically, People can type what they want, like you have now in your opinion. Where others have theirs. have a better one.

  7. What would you expect an outcome to change if you keep doing the same thing??
  8. Then keep riding like this and accept actions
  9. Simple for those who need harder sense and not common sense 2 cyclists middle of the road when there are signs that says single file. they clearly ignoring road rules in South Africa. Yet bitch about cars getting fed up with cyclists. 1 motorists trying to get passed on a solid line - again no go but you have 2 guys disobaying well known road rules. How long he been behind etc no one knows. Runners on the wrong side of the road 3 wrongs dont make a right but dont point fingers when you 1 of the 3
  10. Same context that was provided that the motorists DGAF.

  15. A race, event or stage is only as hard as you make it. Doesnt matter if it is epic or gravel burn or racing your dog to the front door.
  16. I thought it was a pretty good race for year 1 and the racing was good through the categories I was following. Great that with the growth and professionalism of gravel in today’s modern cycling, this is a serious add on edition. People I spoke to racing it, didn’t really have any of these complaints here, but then they were racing and clearly had none of these experiences like everyone not racing here commenting did
  17. from what I heard the coverage was not good and this is also trying to make contact with people
