  1. Yip, contribute...its a community not gumtree.
  2. hahahaha you qualify for a moer of a discount on the sliding scale...I say milk the cow brother.
  3. I only started with my 1000 post rule since then, bought only from people with 1000 post count and above, also didn't leave reviews for those guys. My dibs rule started much earlier on for sale ads But great inspector work, baas speurder faber. Oh and PS, derrickv is an awesome guy...came recommended by someone with you guessed it, 1000 posts or more
  4. Good idea oom....business man, you are one
  5. Oi.... You know that this formula works the other way too....for every post above 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000......etc etc you get a sliding scale discount. with your 11725 posts I might have to pay you to take an item....
  6. ons kan, but you won't like it.....see if there are no takers and the buyer is persistent that he MUST have it we adjust the price accordingly. So lets say I want to sell something for R1000 and you have 624 posts(like you do currently), we subtract 624 from 1000(posts here) and get to 376 short. We then take that number and make it a percentage...37.6% and add that to the value of items price... So a 1000 rand item will then cost 1376 rond... Risk / Reward....that ol chestnut.
  7. Nope...1000 posts. it is what it is I am afraid. Chuckky has a good idea on how to get there though. Please see his advice
  8. Pierre I wont lie to you here, you are setting yourself up to have a thread like this of your own....dont give them any option....dibs means jack, ignore them.
  9. exactly....willing buyer, willing seller. And to be honest I have much better dealings with peeps since I have been doing it since you dont get the "dibs" callers and also no wasting time from one post wonders
  10. works like a charm pel, like you...I don't sell or buy anything from until you hit 1000. Then I have a good feel of your personality and if its worth buying from or selling to you.
  11. Go rate him....if he ever wants to sell anything again, it will pop up with negative feedback
  12. mmmm he is dealing with a hit and run...can't phone chuckky to tell him what is happening, yet can post here 16 minutes after the thread was created....Exactly why I don't deal with noobs and lurkers END VAN PRENT...hulle mors n mens se tyd
  13. It does....like a bomb...dont deal with lurkers whose character I don't know...Have always managed to sell my items within a day or two. I suggest chuckky does the same
  14. mmmmm chuckky...once bitten, twice shy....I wouldnt deal with him again. my 2c Funny how they show up in a thread about them, but dont commit to what was agreed...
  15. cas247 = 6 posts norm333 = 41 posts See if you had the 1000 posts rule they would have been able to bugger you around....
  16. Ja Chuckky....pis poor form by the 2 guys in question....cas247 and Norm333. Its really about common decency. Let me know...get back to me when you say you will...manage my expectations. Now for what its worth, I include the following on ALL my ads...sort of fine print ...Don't call Dibs...it means nothing. Item will be secured if you post "I will take it". ...I don't deal with members with less than 1000 posts, so don't bother posting / negotiating. Since I have added these two rules to my ads, my experience ito dealing with hot air buyers have been 100% great. For one, you dont get lurkers sitting in the classifieds all day long contributing nothing else, you don't get the one post wonders that you don't know the character of and you don't open yourself up to scammers / dangerous situations since they people buying have been around the block a few times on the hub. Trust me...add it to your ads, its worth it. Oh please go and rate them negatively in the marketplace section....based on it i will never deal with either cas247 and Norm333
  17. There is a difference, as you noted and experienced training on rollers makes it very hard to hit certain zones(power) and certain cadences. For this an IDT is perfect. However rollers work other areas that and IDT won't...balance and core comes to mind. Place and time for both of them..
  18. Liewe aarde....how did you not petrol bomb the place
  19. Price will be king.... What is the offering

  22. roadbike.... no wait wait....a steel mountainbike? yes that is the one
  23. Do tell more.....
  24. Forget the pro's and con's....buy with your heart, your head will thank you in the long run.
