    Brake Pads

So best option is to swop pads when i swop wheels.
  8. I have a set of brake pads for my aluminium braking surface wheels and a specific set for my full carbon wheels but swopping brake pads is a hassle. Can you use the the carbon pads on the aluminium wheels as well? What about the issue of tiny aluminium piece getting into the pads which will then damage the carbon wheels or is that not an issue?

Anybody ride in the B group Yesterday? Seems like that group was the fastest for the day.
  17. Tubbies and clinchers have the about the same puncture resistance. If a tubby is cut you are dead without a back up. Most punctures can be fixed with a sealant but tubbies are lighter and roll way faster. Been on Vitoria's now for two years and so far no punctures(touch wood).
  18. Agreed. 90% of us ride and train to RACE so moaning about the price is somewhat irrelevant. If you want to race you have to pay.If you ride only for fun race entry fee irrelevant. Simple
  19. Agreed, 2007 finish was miserable!
  20. I have done that and they work perfectly Is it the insoles that give the valgus / angle to align the knee or should one use the insole to get the arch support and then also the shims to get the tilt ? I use the insoles as well as the shims which is how it was set up for me by a Specialized dealer.
