Eye-witnesses say he sped up for 100 metres before hitting them. He will go to jail, I hope, for a long time - if he doesn't plead insanity, he'll get attempted murder or something. I long for the demerit system in this country. It cannot be harsh enough. Driving is not a right; it is a privilege.There should be psychometric tests involved.
