Our bunch rides on a Saturday have club members and non club members - I never leave ladies out there on their own, members or not!!!

Non club members who fall off the bunch because they are not fit enough are told at the end of the ride to rather join slower bunches before returning. Club members I will push back into the bunch or we will form a auto bus and stay with them until completion of the ride.

No lady ever gets left behind when I am on duty. No lady should ever get left behind - nuff said.

And you shouldn't (1) assume to know me and lump me into your narrow categories and (2) stick to the topic.

Well said.

I based what I'd said on the impression you created of yourself in your previous post (no categories, narrow or otherwise). If that is not a true reflection of you (i.e. that you expect women to 'take care of' themselves because they chose to 'live it up in a male dominated sport' notwithstanding that they join club rides for that very reason) - I take my comments back.

Apologies if I have offended you. My intention was merely to express my opinion on what came across as quite a harsh stance.

No reason not to stop and help particulary if she is in the same group.

If i see someone alone M/F on the side of road bent over a bike i stop to ask if all is OK, even if its just to lend them my cell phone so they can call someone as the issue could be bigger than a simple thing such as a flat tyre.

Have all you upcoutry chaps become gay?? I'm guessing she must be in seriously decent shape if she's even semi committed to cycling, let alone professional. Not one of you could take 5 minutes out of your training ride to make a SUPER DECENT impression???? Bunch of batty boys!
