jcmeyerSS Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 just got my carbon spez frame back from Cliff at cycleart and its awesome. the frame looks like it came off the shop floor only better cuz he did some custom paint for me. I highly reccomend him to anyone that wants to breath new life into their frame.

jcmeyerSS Posted March 16, 2011 Author Posted March 16, 2011 it all depends one what you have done. i had quite a bit done. also carbon or ali makes a difference. a clear coat on carbon like my bike is a pain in the ass to do. so it was quite expensive but worht every cent woulda paid twice once i saw the finished product. better than factory finish.phone him and explain what you want and he can give you an idea of what you in for.

I can not see why just plain clear coat is a mission. Maybe prepping the carbon is a pain but the paint should be quick even for 2k paint.

NotSoBigBen Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Would you believe this bike was done by Cycleart in 2006 and has done loads of races (3*SabieX, Sani2C non stop, 24 hour) and many many training rides (and falls). The paint job still looks pretty neat
