flex Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Also had lots of fun. The MTB course would have been boring and uneventful were it not for the mud. Well organized and lekker morning out. And my Scalpel seems to have survived...
Face Plant Posted March 28, 2011 Author Posted March 28, 2011 man o man was that a interesting race! at some points it felt like i was doing a speedway race... never knew you could get a bicycle sideways like that! it was a mudfest of note. but like you guys said, it was a well organised, entertaining and one to remember. there is something missing when you get home from a offroad triathlon and your trisuit and bike are still clean

It was my first triathlon.  The swim hurt a lot because I didnt train for it at all, but I made up a lot on the bikes and the run was better than I expected. Didn't do too badly for a first tri and very limited training in the other disciplines. The mud was crazy, my poor poor bike.

I did it on my SS and was leaving most guys in the mud. skidding all over the place and the run was not to bad either.
