While I see specialized is getting slaughterd for doing a Mclaren bike I came across this.

 

MAde by Beru F1 systems.

Runs DI2 (fail) :angry:

Ceramic disc brakes(can't use in the wet) :angry:

Weight 7.4kg (fail) :angry:

Price 21000 pounds sterling at todays exchange rate R231000 :o

It is not UCI legal and marketed as a "training tool"

It has pretty much integrated everything - Think it is made as a marketing or showpiece bike, although they have sold numbers.

The core business of the company is design and manufacturing of carbon bits for F1 and other hi tech industries.

It was built by F1 designers and their brief was to build a bicycle without being constrained by the general bicycle (read UCI) parameters. Just a few guys trying to be creative in their spare time. I think it is quite nice actually, but then I ride a MTB...
