Steven Knoetze (sk27) Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 I see this thread will be going through a bit of a slow patch.News so far then, seems Mclaren Honda relationship is off to a rocky start. 2 days and 2 registered laps in testing isn't a great start. Hope they get their act together.Bottas seems to be a big threat for 2015, wouldn't be surprised to see the Williams Mercedes engines suddenly "under-performing" next year.Hulkenburg to drive Le mans, that should be interesting. I also managed to win my last race in our German Clubs simulator challenge and received my prize last year. Really chuffed, now to find somewhere to put it......Looks like we will also be putting a team together to take on the Virtual le mans in 2015. Captain Fastbastard Mayhem 1

I understand that he's doing the series - or have I misread it and he's only doing Le Mans itself? Jaaa... but that was par for the course in the beginning of this year for everybody. Hope that Honda sort their sheet. Then again, I won't mind seeing Alonso (if that is where he is going, as seems to be the consensus) getting a bit of humble pie if his comments have been correctly conveyed by the press. (Bugger me, it's Friday and I'm more diplomatic than a Great Dane at a cat conference...) Awesome prize that, SK!

The Webber Porsche team has already been finalized. So unless there's a shuffle they will be in separate cars. Porsche has tested quite a few of their GT racers in a bit to promote them - chances are he will be in the 3rd car for them.The real question is will he partner Button? Smacks of Rossi and Yamaha 2004 when Honda wouldn't let him test and he still smoked them......
