Why I bought STANS and not JOE's

Joe'sealant - R130

Stan's - R220

I went for the Stan's because it states it is NON CORROSIVE...

Now I am sure Joe's is too, however, if Stan is willing to put it on his product, I can hold him to it.

Ignore Mampara - he is just trying to make 20 000 posts.

The Joes/Stans debate is like every other contentious ddebate on the internet - everybody has an opinion / nobody really knows.

I have used both - no problem.

Thats only on their new bottles, older ones dont say that they are non-corrosive AFIK

Was it always non-corrosive or have they actually changed something ?

As of 1st of March I've been running on my own mix for 2 years now. Use it on 3 bikes. No problems so far. Even cheaper than Joes. I've had no corrosion and only 2 punctures which were caused by cuts.

On the older Stans bottles there used to be a patent number. Now google this number and it will take you to Patent Storm. The recipe is on there.

You sound like a Maxxis Crossmark user, old Stans used to delaminate them, I agree with you 100%.

Bummer no more warranty claims on tyres.

You guys should all try No Flats ( I see they are advertsing here now)they also say non corrosive ect check out there website www.noflats.co.za it has a lot of info. I just feel that Joes and Stans have a hold on the market when there are better products with more advantages like No Flats out there. I love it won't use anything else
