I've been using the Tufo Extreme Tubby Tape for cyclocross' date=' easy to work with and it kicks ass![/quote']

I used the tape once. Found it a bit messy. I might however have overdone it a bit.

How do you over do it? You put it on, put the tubby on, pull out the bit on top of the tape and you're away?

This is the tufo one in particular, I've used another one that wasn't as cool.

Have used Continental for tubbies on track wheels (and you don't want the tubby to climb off on the banking at 50+ km/h); other people swear by ordinary contact adhesive, or tape.  Have seen some spectacular crashes on the track where tubbies climbed off the wheel when tape was used....

Vittoria gets rated the best in the various tests I have seen but I have never had a problem with Conti and it is easier to get.

Tufo tape great but they strongly advise you don't use it with non Tufo tyres (Tufo tubs have a different type of base tape)
