Ok, so enough b1tching about the goodie bags etc.

So, nice new things that I saw at the expo:

New Cervelo RS (with strange seat stays)

5.5kg cervelo R3SL

Limited edition white SLC-SL on top of the Audi near the exit.

Trek's full range of new madone, including WSD.

What else was there that's worth going back for?

Did you guys see the "R250 Cajees winter jackets" at the official merchandise. They added therace logo and sold it for show special R170. Solomons down at the end had them for half that.

Gotta love the fact that Solomons is right at the end. Wonder how many people forked out cash before getting to their strand.

Interestingly is the fact that the Garmin as Sportsman's was about R800 cheaper than Solomons

I spoke to the guy at the Trek stand and he explained the new EX suspension to me. He said that you can book a demo bike through your LBS and then ride it for a week. I've got 4 shops that I go to, and Trek/Gary Fisher has got a few models. I think I'm gonna sell my bikes and just spend the year riding demo bikes.

So who spotted the Niner 29" full suspensionCool and hardtail frames at the Shimano booth?  Only problem was non committal response when asked about when it will be available and how much.Thumbs%20Down<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

The GT cyclo cross bike and the stealth black carbon marathon was cool.

The carbon framed Schwinn <?:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Moabon> look like a good buy.

But where was the 69er Treks and all the tire companies.Confused

Those Niners looked realy nice. Trek said that they definatley are comming and GT has a single speed rigid 29er for R5200. They will also have Kenda tyres to go with them.
