First pics are floating around the web of the new Cotic Solaris 29er prototype.

 

Based on the excellent Soul, and obviously only in steel, I've no doubt it will be awesome.

 

And in baboon-ball blue too.... yirrr I can't wait

Oooh that is nice. The 26" version got a good write-up in Tread, wondered if they were going to do one with real wheels.

@ Chro Mo - no idea when it'll be available yet. Considering it's still a prototype I reckon end of the year at best.

I have ridden a number of steel hardtails in recent months, albeit not this one, after deciding to buy one when I was in the UK. I am a complete fan of the Soul. Probably the best 26 inch HT on the SA scene, going by the numbers... just imagine how much better with the bigger wheels. They will make a great bike even better.

 

Need some help off that high horse?

Sitting with a baboon-ball blue BFe frame in the lounge. Going to be changed over to an orange Soul. Cannot wait for the swap/delivery from www.cotic.co.za to take place later this week
