We plan to maybe have a quick spin through there around 3pm or so Monday anyway ... weather permitting (I now I'm a fair weather cyclist) and of course of I get a pink slip from my wife

Was there earlier today, and I have to say that "I LIKE IT", especially the blue routes (River Bend, Wendel's Revenge, Clinic and Japanese garden)

So the bridges are made of steel and boring, but you move over them so quickly that it's almost as if they're not there.

I may even consider doing the provincial race there in June (should be enough time to get my fat b-hind into gear by then).

Definitely my favourite bike park, and that's not because I can ride there and back. Yes, it's also a man-made course but on natural terrain, unlike some other bike parks in Gauteng.

Well done Wendel & co

i joined nancy drew & friends for a roadie-loop before venturing into the park. the first time i cycled there outside of 24 hours and xc - beautiful tracks in autumn, the driest that i've seen the tracks - and a LOT of fun.

i will certainly go back there :)
