So it's obviously a bad idea to train with the flu in your system... So can one train after getting a flu shot - and if not, for how long?

Or is it not worth worrying and it's business as usual?

When i had my flu shot done last month, i phoned and asked the doc if it is ok to train after, and i asked the nurse at Dischem and both said it was fine. They said i can carry on the same day and i did - went spinning that same afternoon and have been fine.

Just don't go when you have a cold/flue with fever - then it is less effective at giving you immunity. Resent work also shows its best to have a mild training session (even if just a good walk) just before - makes it more effective!

Cool, thanks! Suspected it to be the case - and then got thinking - always dangerous...

Nope, I'm perfectly fine, just a bit of allergy sinus - that time of year, fortunately passing. So no worries there!
