Hi all,

Sometime from mid July to mid August I'm in Neutraubling, Germany.

I was wondering whether anyone of you know of cycling shops (in and around Munich) or online cycling shops that will deliver anywhere in Germany.

Specifically looking for MTB components

Thx in advance

I found this one.... look at those prices of the XT Groupsets!!

I wonder where the catch is....

No brakes on that set....new 2012 stock is coming in soon so they need to clear.Prices are down on quite a few things now.

I've asked them about the 2012 XT gruppo, they cannot confirm dates at the moment.

Either way I will leave Germany with an XT gruppo  should it be the old or 2012 :)

There are sets with breaks and sets with wheels... look further down :D

I have been to Germany a couple of times and there are millions of cyclists and millions of bike shops. Everybody there commutes, the problem is most of these bike shops only deal in and sell commuter types of bikes.

You may struggle to get the type of stuff you are looking for. The only bike shop I found in Hamburg that sold proper road and MTB stuff was at a massive Dept Store called Karstad. I've heard that they have closed. They were a nation wide chain and were cheap on their cycling stuff.

I will be in Erlangen for the first 2 weeks in August. I think there are 2 cycling stores there that I will for surely go and visit.

It looked like high end stuff like Bulls, Ghost etc that they sell...Will see when I get there.

Do you have a link for their website?

If they ship within EU do you still need to pay VAT?

Yip, CRC adds VAT to the order total for orders to the EU. It's 19% for Germany, though, not 20%.

CRC no postage and no duties. ;)

I find CRC a lot more expensive than the German/Dutch sites lately (maybe because of the weak Euro?). Not the bargain it once was
