Eugene Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 I have been to Germany a couple of times and there are millions of cyclists and millions of bike shops. Everybody there commutes, the problem is most of these bike shops only deal in and sell commuter types of bikes. You may struggle to get the type of stuff you are looking for. The only bike shop I found in Hamburg that sold proper road and MTB stuff was at a massive Dept Store called Karstad. I've heard that they have closed. They were a nation wide chain and were cheap on their cycling stuff.

I think there are 2 cycling stores there that I will for surely go and visit. It looked like high end stuff like Bulls, Ghost etc that they sell...Will see when I get there.
