Anybody know where a decent road to motorpace is? Near the Southern Suburbs.

As you leave simonstown on the way to Glencairn, the road is flat with a bump as you pass Red Hill. If you can get an SUV or 4x4 you can clear the bump at about 60. The section lasts about 3-4k's. Rinse, repeat.

Or, if you have someone to pace you, the road from the top of Smits down to Kommetjie is a good option - not much traffic, gradual downhill most of the way with a few bumps / uphill drags.

Motorpacing is a perfectly legitimate and effective way to training for racing in a fast bunch...........best road would be a nice peace of freeway or tollroad and use a motorbike rather than a car.....................

ThaStig - don't give my circuit away - been using it for year, don't want to many others using it. Was going to take a rider but it is too cold!
