Being over 2m tall has its advantages and disadvantages, try find any shoes bigger than size 12!

I am currently in the market for size 14 mtb shoes, and the largest I can find is size 12, does anyone know of a decently priced shop to find these?(Bearing in mind I'm on a student budget)

I'm also looking for a bike brand that has bikes in XXL, but only XL seem to be available! Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I'm exactly 2m tall and have a Specialized Roubaix 61cm frame and it works for me.

Always go for the comfort/distance bikes rather than the 100% race so the geometry fits us better. Scott's also have a range where you sit more upright etc - head tube is longer.

So right now I actually enjoy riding and can't wait to get out as my back no longer gets sore.

Specialized also have shoes that fit me and I battled.

They generally cater for the taller sized people.

Good Luck.

Give me a shout if you need help on anything regarding over 2m.

You want a road bike or Mtb? I am 2,06cm and ride a 63cm Cannondale road bike and a XXL or as they call it Jumbo Cannondale Mtb. I wear a size UK 14.

You can order a pair of shimano shoes from your local dealer. But remember shimano shoes are weird sizing make sure you ask for a UK14 and not like I know it a EU49. In shimano shoes you need a EU51. Trust me I know ordered the wrong size 1st. If you want order them from http://www.leisurelakesbikes.com/ they have specialized mtb and road shoes in UK14 I ordered my road shoes from them and cost me R1600 for a top of the range shoe they have the mtb shoe also in stock. Then locally you can also try buycycle.co.za they also have some Sidi shoes that should fit and they are in JHB so you can go and try them on before you buy.

Check the SIDI shoe sale in the for sale section - they had a EU 51 shoe there if I remember correctly..... thankfully I'm only at 1.95m but still struggle to get stuff my size - if it's not too short, it's too baggy.

Bibs: I take a small size but the strap must then be altered. Waste size 32.

What a mission.

People say we have loads of torque but we also have more wind resistance.

The giant frames in biggest size also fit me.

Jis, your bikes head tube must be as long as my bikes top tube

Ja the 29er range from trek is nice, but down in cape town not much stock to choose from, there is a guy on the hub selling a Gary Fiher 29 with slx on dual for R30.000
