What is the general view of these wheels?

How durable are they?

Is spares (spokes, bearings, etc) readily available?

Which Shop (Pta or Gauteng area) do service/repairs to these wheels?

Can I get the Spoke tool/spanner for it separate?

Where can I get a "manual" for these wheels?

How expensive are parts for these wheels?

EB, couldnt wait any longer, and even though it rained I went out for a ride. Sorry to report, NO KNOCKING SOUNDS from my rear wheel.

What is the general view of these wheels? - I like them.

How durable are they? - They are quite strong, however have seen a few rims that cracked, and the rear hub needs regular TLC.

Is spares (spokes, bearings, etc) readily available? - Yes, spokes are quite expensive though.

Which Shop (Pta or Gauteng area) do service/repairs to these wheels? - Any decent shop

Can I get the Spoke tool/spanner for it separate? - Yes, you are supposed to get one with the wheels.

Where can I get a "manual" for these wheels? - With new wheels you should get one, other wise on the net.

How expensive are parts for these wheels? - Very, spokes about R50 each.

Dankie bobby. Daai "half en half racing wiele" is 100% beter en ook omtrent 50% ligter as die wiele wat ek op die oomblik het. So, vir my is dit een groot stap vorentoe.Wink

Is parte, ens redelik beskikbaar, en hoe duur is dit?

Mud Dee, you say TLC, expand pse. Will only use them to race, no training.

Wheels is on bike I bought, will have to ask previous owner if he has said items in his possession.

There is a rubber/teflon/plastic seal in the hub wich tends to cause friction. This can cause your cassette to stay static when you freewheel, wich then causes chainsuck, or some awefull noise. I find that lubing this seal with a oil and grease mix works great.
