Hi Hubbers,

AllOutMTB will soon be bringing you the ability to track your training incl gym training, running, bike riding, spinning etc. You will also be able to enter your HR stats.

In addition to this you will be able to enter all the stats for your races and your achievements.

You and your will buddies will then be able to compare your training and racing progress with some nice reports. So you and your buddies can compete even though your not competing :D

Membership on is and allways will be free, so all of this functionality will automatically be free.

No charge, no strings attached.

Cant wait to launch it, we know it will benefit everyone who uses it.

Will keep everyone updated as soon as its done.

Happy training and happy riding!

Is this the same principle as fittrack.co.za, if so I would love to know the formula used for "obtaining score totals" on the graphs. Its just a matter I find interesting as i know there is no complete scientific approach to it due to all the variables.

But it would be interesting to know how its scored.

Dude, buy an ad or something, all I ever see when I log into the hub is your spam posts trying to promote your website.

I'm sorry that you think the info (which is all cycling related by the way) and is free to everyone is spam.

All the reponses we've had thus far was in the line of "thanks for contributing with an awesome site".

And in fact I have sat up late nights putting together proper training programs (free) for fellow hubbers in addition to all the info, reviews and videos on the site.

Sorry, I just take a bit offence to your "spam" comment.

Hi Covie, Yes it is similar but also different. We will be trying to improve on the functionality of fittrack but will start off with the basics. The big difference is that it will be "Free".

well i can personally say i quite enjoy knowing as new articles are put up for reading etc. and like you said its not promoting your site per say, as everything is information orientated, not click this link and check out my site kinda thing, so keep up the good work, quite enjoy reading the stuff your putting up

oh and maybe an idea.

possibly have an e-mail news letter kinda thing that goes out say weekly, as daily some people could find annoying (unless i missed it somewhere on the site?), possible giving links to new things your adding to the site, articles reviews etc?

use it dont, use it.

Thanks for the feedback Brad. We will definitely be sending out a weekly news letter soon. Just building up the member base to such a point that it will make a news letter viable.

At this stage we just want everyone in the cycling community to actually know about alloutmtb and share everything we do on alloutmtb with everyone.

We are really putting in a lot of effort to contribute quality articles/info to the community. I think the site already speaks for itself regarding that.

I welcome positive and negative feedback as this will help us to constantly improve.

In my opinion the more sites that have usefull info the better and your not doing a bad job Swartpiet, though i think the complains stems from the amount of posts to direct traffic away from this site, Not that your in direct competition with thehub's survival, but it would be the appropriate thing to do to support the site financially that you use to direct traffic towards your site. i.e. taking out a banner.

Lets take CWC for example, they post regularly on this site, with great specials bargains interesting info. But if i look ot the left of my screen I see the banner they took out. It just supports cooperation between all cycling related websites, and who knows you could even ask the admin to do a banner exchange, thehub on your site, and your site on the hub?

Will surely do. A lot of work going into this at the moment. Will go through a teething phase from its launch. Will rely a lot on everyone to get it right and to constantly improve it. But the hubbers have shown that they are always willing to support, try out new things and give feedback.

oh yes, velo, did you see that we now officially advertise on the hub and were planning to increase the advertising at the end of the month. I must add, it feels awesome to support such an awesome forum and community such as this.

We now pay our hubbing rates and taxes. :D
