senuwees Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 Hi all, im a noobie so im not to sure if you guys have heard about or know of Renovo bikes. My father in law read about them in Popular Mechanics. Theyre made out of wood and really looks awesome, they reckon these bikes will out live a ally or metal bike and is just as durable as a carbon one... senuwees Posted June 9, 2011 Author Posted June 9, 2011 No i think they only come in weet-bix wood!! The red pinstripe is the gasket sealer holding it together and the warranty question...as long as youre not a "houtkapper" it think youre warranty wont be voided!! No tree needed, just some water!!
covie Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 Your problem i think will be the minute it gets scratched water will eventaully weaken the wood and then your fooked. Would love to see my mates faces if i pitch up on a wooden horse though would be bloody priceless.

senuwees Posted June 9, 2011 Author Posted June 9, 2011 @covie: i think they would have treated the wood for in case coz there are openings for water to seep through where the cables go into the chassis. im sure theyve made some sort of draining holes as well
