Help me out here ladies...

The expat cyclist

My wife's MTB needs a new saddle. Now every shop we go to, wants to sell something different - all claiming this will be perfect for her.

So my wifes tunes the salesman today: "And how would you know this is perfect for me? You're not a woman, so how do you know?"

So ladies, what saddles would you suggest to a fellow lady? And also what kind of riding/events do you do?

Get her to measure which one fits best on an assometer. That's what other ladies on the Hub recommended.

I've got the Fizik Ms Berlin,

It's very light and the most comfortable saddle I've ever had! It's def worth a try...that is, if she likes the pictures!

The assometer will only give you the width of the sitbone...

My wife tried a number saddles. She had a Selle Italia womens specific, but it never where perfect (your wife is welcome to borrow it to test, her also being a physio like my wife and all). She finally found a perfect saddle in the Specialized Ariel.
