How to shake a cold

Recommended Posts

I always take a cap-full of Vicks Medinight just before I go to sleep whenI'm feeling flu'ish. Feel right as rain the next day, but you would need to catch the cold early though. Hope you feel better soon. Cheers

Only thing you can do with a flu is try and prevent it, or at least prevent getting it bad, take a daily multivite and extra vit C. But nothing will cure the flu or a common cold, it will work itself out in its own time, you can manage the symptoms with flu meds but thats about it.

+1. You can't cure it. For me the best is just to stay at home and eat and rest a lot. Don't go to work, because you'll only infect other people. If they complain, let them see how productive the whole office is with the cold or flu.

Vitamin C, etc. should've been used to prevent it, not cure it. But sometimes you can do your best and still get it.

Boegoe brannas...

Take the hottest bath you can handle without 3rd degree burns, gooi n tracksuit on and get under duvet and 2 blankets. Drink half-jack of boegoe brandy in 1 go and let the sweating begin.

The next day you will be right as rain....or dead, either way...cold is gone.
