Sorry for asking...

How funny is "moer funny"?

Hahaha! Nailed it! The laast one would be the P-bomb but it does not need to be dropped here, its not 'that' funny.

Very good topic. It should assist both buyer and seller if contributions are forthcoming.

I have changed to a 10 speed and so I would like to sell my 9 speed components. They worked well on my bike and believe they are worth something although they are used.

What a have is the following - all 105 9 speed in good working order.

Shifters

FD and RD

Cluster

Chain

Hollowtech crank -(no BB)

My LBS said they are worth R1400 but I believe R1200 would be a fair price?

Any comments/suggestions?

That could be a good price. Relative to mileage and appearance (i.e. scuffs and scratches)

Dont take R200's, they are fake.

Only some of them...

I went to the One and Only last year with some friends with a couple of R200's and when it came to pay they said they didn't accept them. (it was around the time the new R200's were being introduced.)

We nearly had to run for it, but we found someone to help...

If you are looking at selling it here, probably R10k (but be prepared to haggle!). The guys have previously struggled to sell similar frames only for R4000. I sold mine (with 105) for R5500 so your with better groupset should sell for more.

  • 5 months later...

Hello i want to sell my 54cm road bike after the Argus, please advise me on what i should sell it for?

It was bought November 2010 and its a Felt F85 and probably with about 10 000km on it.

Upgraded the rear derailleur to Shimano Ultegra and a new Shimano 105 chain November last year.

I'm not sure what these retail for, about R11 000 if i should guess!

Weight is about 9 kg

I will include the carbon bottle cages, sigma speedometer and the pedals
