tyres for karoo 2 coast

Good Morning

which would be the better choice of tyre to use in the Karoo 2 Sea race ?

choice is between the Michilen XC Dry 2 and the Kenda Small Block 8 .

Not running tubeless. i ve never done this race before and dont know the terrain we will cover.

Just about anything will work fine - mainly dirt road.

guess its a flip of a coin to make the choice .they are both fast rolling tyres

I've just put fast rolling tyres on both front and back, but I've since heard the weather pridiction is rain so not sure if I made the right choice. Possibly should have left my Captain on the front and just put a fast track on the back. Mights have some fun on the downhills.

I'm sticking with my Mountain kings 2.4 up front & race Kings 2.2 back...

 

Ans I'm going great balls into thase fasr corners!!

Choose the lighter ones, lots of climbing ahead and you won't need the extra grip on these roads. Still be carefull though on the fast bends going down
