I found the male and female combination at RS components

Educate me, but how to connect the plugs to the wire. The wire/plug is a "sealed" unit.

I assume that the units get sealed after the wires are attached. But I will know for sure when they arrive

It looks like they come with the wire pre-attached. You'd need to splice it onto the existing wire and then use some heatshrink and silicone sealant to make the joint watertight.

I use the extension cord to charge my battery without taking it off the frame. You can cut the plug off and solder it onto your battery pack. Should be easier than making up a new lead.

I've just had to repair my magicshine light as the wires did something similar to I Fly's.

 

Fortunately I have a technician at work who deals with this sort of thing on a daily basis.

I also have a handyman at work so I asked him to sort out my connection. He went to
