Hehehehehehehe! Haven't shaved for a while…yesterday, while making breakfast, my son said: "Dad, you look like Wolverine!"

Well... did you know that Hugh Jackman is gorgeous ???? And Wolverine has a certain 'something' about him that makes him rather irresistible (Maybe its because its Hugh Jackman underneath? Do you look like HJ? That could be a potential problem for any potential stalkers.)

I have been told I look like Russell Crowe, but only because of the bags under my eyes!

This made me tear up a little…Tumbles is getting old…

it's heart wrenching to see our friends ageing and know there's not much more we can do other than love them, I'm just glad tumbles found his way home and so he could grow old with his pack.

Some pics of my 3 older rescues take earlier this year at a photoshoot in Glen Forest near Camps Bay (courtesy of Tamed & Framed Photography).

1. Gada - "The Guardian" and Alpha Male found emaciated in the Airport Industrial area about 2 years ago, riddled with tick bite fever and completely malnutritioned, he has blossomed into becoming the pack leader and main guard dog.

2. Max - High-energy Border Collie rescue from the BC Rescue near Malmesbury. Max suffers from a mild form of epilepsy and this may have been caused due to physical abuse as a puppy. He is the most alert of all my dogs and hears anything and everything and then gets the rest of the pack rallied up. He is a tri-colour BC and has incredibly long hair on his upper coat.

3. Flynn - The Fantastic Mr Flynn is another rescue from the BC Rescue in Malmesbury. He is the undisputed joker in the pack and is a truly agile dog that easily jumps up against an 8' wall to peek over it. He has heterochromia - one blue and one brown eye and on top of that one ear up and one ear down. The Jack Nicholson of dogs.

When you go down to the woods today.... this was a lot more difficult than the picture shows, as there were several people walking their dogs off-leash during the shoot, so I eventually walked them away from it all, and this is where this pic comes from.

Indeed! That's why I have decided to take Tumbles for a beach holiday this year. It's something I have wanted to share with him since I went for one of the nicest walks of my life with my best friend and her two Schnauzers on the beach earlier this year. He'll love it!
