Maybe its just me or maybe im just used to linden cycles service but wasnt happy with this shop.

 

Went to purchase shoes and cleats ( 1st pair) and spent over 1 k total. Took my mtb along and after paying asked the guy if he could help me fit them.. Abd he wanted to charge me 25... Really? Just spent over a 1k an you wont give me the 25 rand to fit them... Thought that sucks and just said il fit them my self and just asked for my receipt.. Dude was adamant they never give receipts, after insistinh the 3rd time he finally wrote one out..

 

Am i being over sensitive or am i right that this is bad service?

Never ever buy at that shop. They are the worst shop in town. Back in 2003 when I started cycling they tried to sell me a 2nd hand chain-store bike for R900!!! :-O

I bought my son a Silverback Oakland from them in 2009 as they were the only one that had an XS with 26" wheels.

 

Never visited the shop since.

Odd owner of the shop, one day he's friendly the next grumpy. Price wise when iv'e bought they're comparative with other shops but to charge for fitting cleats is ridiculous, iv'e seen something similar at another shop in Boksburg where they charged a lady R20 to fit road pedals which she had just bought.

Wil never ever use them again. That 25 just cost him me as a client

No receipt? How would you make a warranty claim if your shoes fell apart?
