davetapson Posted September 27, 2011 Share My brother has left me with a GT Marathon (full sus). The front fork is poked (Manitou Black). The rest of the bike is in good nick so I reckon it's worth replacing the front fork. I've got a Rockshox Revelation that I love. I know nothing about what's available and what's what with what's available - so for those that know, what would be a good fork to replace the Manitou with? Doesn't need any more than 120mm travel I would think? Edited September 27, 2011 by davetapson

TNOSE_E Posted September 27, 2011 Share Ok, I will start. How much money you got? 120mm is ok but 100mm is better for marathon. Manitou Minute 100mmRS Reba 100mmFox RL something 100mm
davetapson Posted September 27, 2011 Share Fork me, but you guys are fussy. There, I've edited it. How does a Reba compare to a Revelation?
rouxtjie Posted September 27, 2011 Share RS Reba...chameleon of forks. Light enough...plush enough and strong enough
LazyTrailRider Posted September 27, 2011 Share Fork me, but you guys are fussy. There, I've edited it. How does a Reba compare to a Revelation? A Revelation is a long-travel Reba.
Thumper Posted September 27, 2011 Share Can I throw a Fox Talas in the mix.
pauloc Posted September 27, 2011 Share +1 for the Reba. Can't compare to the rest on the list, but I love my Reba RLT - so plush and you can adjust anything and everything to nth degree.
banna Posted September 27, 2011 Share Got a Fox F120 on my Zula. Great fork. But bang for the buck the Reba is probably the better buy.
