Pronutro Posted October 14, 2011 Share Hi I am looking at getting some hubs, for standard 9mm QR. Just want some info on what the technical difference is between the Chris King Classic Hub (http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=2612) and the Chris King ISO Hub (http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=2039) ? Is the ISO some other/older/proprietary type system? All I want to establish is whether I should use the classic or the ISO hub in my decision making, comparing process. I don't want to buy something I can't technically use in the end. The other hubs I am considering are the Hope Pro II's, which I know will work. Thanks for the enlightment
Taps Posted October 14, 2011 Share Classic hubs are not for discs.
AndreZA Posted October 14, 2011 Share I think the "Classic" is for road as it does not have the holes for discs.
Pronutro Posted October 14, 2011 Share Classic hubs are not for discs. Ah, yes, I think you're right. Won't be able to run disc brakes on them. So I would have to look at the ISO disc one's then.
