It is true he slowed down but it was also at a stage when AB and JP went out and SA need to do a bit of re-building before the final slog. As a cricketer I thought DC would have known that.

One has to wonder why DC's doesnt to commentry and match analysis for supersport anymore

A 166 run lead and 36 + 90 overs at the Indian batsmen is much more desirable than a 50 run lead and 5 or 6 sessions to play. Kallis have always managed to judge the game to perfection. He assessed the situation and managed to get us to a place where we cannot loose the game, all be it a place where a win is slightly less probable than a best case scenario as DC saw it.

I've never been a DC fan, he is probably the only SA cricketer that I really do not like

I think we have put our self in an awesome position to win the "Kallis Show" if Steyn or Big V can pick up a couple of quick wickets this morning we will have the Indian's under some serious pressure.

He is / was also involved in a sequestration scam where a fake creditor files for sequestration and then soon after the case is closed the court papers disappear making it impossible for other creditors to come after you. I suspect that he has a lot of debt and by making controversial statements he ends up getting some airtime and possibly a small pay cheque from ESPN Cricinfo.
