I've enjoyed the commentary on Radio2000, with Kirsey and Mkhaya. Pity the commentary is a bit delayed wrt the tv otherwise I'd much rather listen to them. TV commentary is a bit lame

Philander how unlucky, if you as bowler do everything right, but your fielders don't hold to catches, then on the couch they are calling for your head, unfair, unfair!!

Same thing happened 1st innings

Vern's fast becoming an all-rounder

Indispensable

his batting average has ALWAYS been above his bowling(one mark of an all rounder), but they are both increasing.

It looks as if they were playing for the draw from the start. Risky - SL has a handy lead, and a defensive mindset is sometimes a road to defeat. Just ask the Sharks and Stormers.

Sri Lanka batted like a side desperate for a win at home. We had no answers to Jayawardene's prowess. Chasing down 421 with 3 world class spinners was never going

to happen on that deck. We played much better than last time in Sri Lanka. It will be interesting to see what Sri Lanka feels is enough.

That pitch is one dust bowl-to-be

It's gonna take some grit from the SA batsman to get through to stumps day 5.

And the poor lefties - 3 hey? - in the Proteas line-up.

All in all, gonna be some good test cricket!
