Hi guys how long and far do you normally ride in a week.

I try to do around 12hrs a week but don't think its nearly enough if I'm trying to race.

Agree with DD. If the training is good you can go far.

I do on average about 5 hours a week.

Some weeks I do up to 8 and some I do one or two (or nothing).

I do races but not too seriously. Im in G group currently and happy there.

If you wanna really race with the front guys you will have to put in more than 12 hours per week though

hahahahaha' date=' I do about 8hours, it's enough to hang onto the Sub Vets.[/quote']

Agreed !!

Quality rather than Quantity.

12 hrs p/week is quite hard to maintain on a regular basis if you work a full day...

35 hrs p/week ...dream on unless you have nothing else to do all day.

All depends on how much time you have and dont forget to incl?ude recovery time (sleep).

I'm actually doing a bit more now that the racing season is at a end. This week I'm looking at between 10-13hours but will drop down to about 8+- when summer laugae starts next year.

With the <?:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Holiday period starting shortly I can afford to do some riding purely for fun eg. Junk Miles.Tongue<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I think we might be off-topic here.

The heading reads "Training Distances" and not "Time"

i personally think that time is a much better way to check your training than to look at distance.
