alright then. not gonna get any spares out of this, right? just stupid comments...

guess that's the problem with the hub(bers) in the first place.

@ steve: only helpful comment. Thanks! just saw nils, nice and very helpful guy! AND he does not seem to have a problem with non-hipsters that feel that gears are actually MADE FOR MOUNTAINS.

if you look like this, you don't need testicles at all, ben...

LeTurbo

Dude. The other day at the bottom of Pomona, I saw a guy on an ancient LeTurbo. Had BioPace chainrings on

Whatever you had on the bike, don't throw away! All gratefully received and collected and stowed away (who else do you know who still rides Sachs-Huret?)

Ah, a man of class and distinction!

Ha, an "ancient" LeTurbo - it's only 30-something years old.

Bah, did Biopace ever work (though a wonderful anachronism)?

Aha, well done for recognising one!

(Funnily enough, there were another two with me in my start group at the 94.7 last year. Very classy start group, I should say.)

Not Sachs but do ride Suntour Superb Pro on one bike...

On an old Zini (Italian Made) I had some or the other Suntour Shift Levers. Made of Nylon, or plastic or something. Rear shift lever broke off while changing up the once.

cool guys,

found myself a bike. the frame is awesome, but the rest pretty crap.

so now I need some spares:

anybody with a wheel-set - cheap cheap and light. wanna put some fat white slicks on...

handlebar, was thinking flatbar or riser, but anything goes really...

also wouldn't mind putting some basic shifters and deraillers on - it came with the stylish but probably totally useless old school shifters.

please shout.

but hey, anywhere in CT and area... not gonna mission with jozi stuff, right? right!

rode my first few argusses (argi?) on a frame precisely like that one, beautiful. enjoy!

Superb Pro was the Dura Ace/ Record equivalent so this gruppo is all metal.....I know the nylon you're referring to mate....I also had a Simplex gruppo with those type of levers.
