Road Pedals

Hi Hubbers,

 

I am in the market for a new set of road pedals, any recommendations for a budget of around R1200?

 

So far I have seen the following in this price range:

 

Look Keo 2 Max

Ultegra 6700

Time I-Clic Fibreflex

Time I-Clic Racer

 

They all seem similar in weight, so was just wondering if any one of the above is better than the other.

Look Keo is the only way to go!

I am currently using Look Keo 2 Max and have no problem except that I find the cleats are not as durable as the Shimano ones I used to have

Same boat as you, never had a problem with my Look's.

I use the Look Keo Carbon blade pedals, awesome pedals, try the grip cleats....they very similar to the shimano ones, I use them for over a month now and they look new still

and after sales service on the Look pedals are also excellent. Had one that started squeeking a bit and they where replaced without any issues.

I managed to get a new set of Dura-Ace 7900's for a fraction more expensive than the Keo's so I went for the Dura-Ace's.

 

I hope I wont be disappointed...
