gOOD day all.

I need some assistance please.

My first bike and i dont know what to choose either between Scott Speedster S10 2011 for R9500.00 or Scott Speedster S30 2012 from Cajees.HELP

The Speedster 10 has much better components than the 30 (Shimano Ultegra top end vs Shimano 105/Tiagra middle/low end). If the price is not very different, buy the 10. The fact that it is this years model is no big deal. I'm pretty sure there will be virtually no difference between the 2011 and 2012 frames. You will then get a much better drivetrain which will work more smoothly, be lighter and last longer. Haggle like hell over the price, this time of year they are desperate to sell old stock to make way for 2012 stock, so make the most of the opportunity.

I agree, take the S10 due to the components. Ultegra 6700 on the S10 is a great groupset. I bought a S30 earlier this year, decent starter bike but I have since upgraded (this is an extremely addictive sport!!!). My new bike has ultegra and I love it.

I heard that Cajees Fourways has a special on the 2011 CR1 for R9995 so maybe ask them about that as well.

Too much to pay for that.. Rather spend a bit more on a carbon bike. Check out silverback and giant, they'll have some good bikes at good prices now due to the new models coming in very soon..

Agreed with comments regarding carbon you can get some great deals on upper specked carbon bikes within your price range. Albeit that these are used bikes if you buy from a reputable source you should be fine. I can assist if need be on a bike or with advice.
