sorry i dont know much about the seesing and race index, says on my entry :

can anyone tell me what that means??

For FF and chrome install IEtab, add https://secure.supersport.co.za/cyclelab/* to the list of domains to be opened in IEtab (it runs inside the chrome/FF window) - obviously this need to be on a Windows installation.

 

In IEtab the scroll bar to click through on your entries to show detail will actually work.

Last year I could not hang with the leaders of the A bunch(41.4km/h) and I averaged 38.3km/h.

 

No VA bunch last year in the Emperors race, but for last year's 94.7 the winning avg speeds for VA was 39.6 vs A at 38.5

That is what happens when you buy a racing license instead of the normal membership.

Yeah, that is not wrong. the 'racing license' entitles you to enter the races and costs R75. The racing license (that i suspect you bought @ like R350) puts you in the racing categories (Elites or VA/VB etc depending on your age). The VA chaps are fast. But you are lucky that you will have an early start then just try hang on.

@ Ryan, yip i paid around 200 - 300 bucks if i remember correctly... had no idea it was a racing category

same thing happened to a friend of mine in race for victory a while ago. I think besides the race licence, when you entered you probably chose "licenced vets" instead of "open/seeded". My friend got a re-seeding to about c group or so at registration, so you could also do that... But ja, I I were you I'd go off with the vets just to see how long I could hang on
