Don't go SRM.

SRM = R3000 for a battery replacement AND you sit without a PM for 1-2 weeks while they do it in Germany!!

Still have lots of time before a buying decision.

Heavy, yeah.

Wonder what you'd get it for there on Planet Zug.

TBH never checked out the cost, but I doubt it would be much cheaper here in Switz, now if i went across the border to Germany might will be cheaper for sure (cheaper than Switz).

Sorry for taking so long for my review, have been busy in training on the mtb for Lourensford on Sunday.

Taking the road bike out for a spin before then for sure and will let you know how it goes

So I went for my 1st ride with the new PM on thursday.

Couldn't feel it was there, although it does look very different from the top when riding compared to a normal crank, Whereas with the powertap I knew it was there because of the weight distribution.

The numbers were very similar to the powertap so no issues there.

Also about 200g lighter which is cool.

All in all, I'm happy to have it and to be able to use it in spring season for some data!

Enjoy, Zac.A...

I am still waiting to make a buying decision.

Filling my piggy bank and scouting the range of choices.

After my Ergo Fit today, my ideal fitment is a 172.5 mm crank length.

My current Hollowgram crank is 175 as the MTB PRO, previous owner, matched the machine to his MTB spec.

Now to go SRAM Red or new Hollowgram..

So, instead of just the spider, additional moola required.

Hmm...

If you need a new crank then I'd suggest (if financials allow) to get an SRM with the hollowgram crank option.

But if it doesn't, then Sram Red is the way to go...

CONSIDER PREVIOUS POST, I HAVE A QUESTION:

Which crankset should I get to fit Quarg?

What criteria or considerations are there?

*I run SRAM Red on a Cannondale Super Six Hi Mod*
