Nettie R Posted April 13, 2012 Share We stayed in the hostel a few years ago. Tight squeeze in the rooms with bikes, bags etc, but we managed. Close to the start.Biggest hassle was taking all our own linen. Friday night we had a big mouth auntie further down the hall who just would not shut up. Saturday night she turned in by 8pm. Bliss. The Guy in Pink Posted April 16, 2012 Share The Kremetart and development of cyclists. In addition to the Kiddies races on Friday evening (8th June) the Krematart also has the Funride on Saturday 9th and the 10 Km Mountain bike race on Sunday (10th) for younger cyclists . These two events will will carry serious prizes for under 10, under 11 under 12 and under 13 year old for both Boys and Girls . The club has also established as a permament feature a small off-road track in the Tree Park near the Info Centre, with bumps and jumps etc. . This facility will be available all week-end for the younger folk to develop their biking skills. Folks the message is make sure you bring bikes for the whole family when you come for the Kremetart. The Guy in Pink Posted April 16, 2012 Share We had a 30km Mountain Bike race in the Zoutpanberg yesterday. The route will be the same as the route for the 30Km event on The Kremetart week-end.I recorded 737metre of ascent and as I had taken part in a 74Km road race on Saturday I felt every metre of that ascent. Kruiwa Posted April 16, 2012 Share The past weekend we had 2 exciting races - Cycle Centre Challenge (Road Race on Saturday and MTB race on Sunday). Both races were used as trials for the upcoming PPC Kremetart 70 Km. and the MTB race. For the 175 Km. we don't need trials, we know. We are so prepared for a great event. Bring your families, bicycles, friends and good spirit and be part of the best cycling weekend ever!
