Has anybody ever bought cycling wear from www.cycling-wear.com ?

The prices seem too good to be true so I was just wondering whether this is just another scam website.

Please note: There is a mistake in my topic title. It is cyling-wear.com and NOT cycle-wear.com

website addres: www.cycling-wear.com

Hallo Louis

Website does'nt feel like a scam, I did some google searches and cant find that it is a scam.

Spoke to a sales agent and she confirmed they send to S.A. They are in Singapore and make sure to check their sizing chart, very small sizing, I am a up from a normal XL to a XXXL

So I bought a jersey and bib set. Shipping was free and item totaled R402.

Its due hopefully in 5weeks.

Looks ok, i'm yet to buy from them.

I usually buy from cyclingjersey.net same price as above - and you know it will arrive as a lot of hubbers used them before.

Let me know....

Are the prices still good after paying import duties on clothing??

Sometimes it gets through without duties. All of ours did. I guess we were lucky... Generally even if you get charged duty it's still cheaper.

Prices ok, they fold a jersey the size of a pack of smokes, then they put it in brown wrapping and declare it as a gift to customs.

I calculate import duty about 40-45%. Last time I bought clothing from UK (wiggle.com) and after receiving I recalcutated the pricing and I never again make the same mistake.

I Bought a bib and jersey from CyclingJersey.net 2 weeks ago.

Paid 450 with shipping ( that only took 9 days )

and paid R76 upon pick up at SAPO

This is not from the UK - its from China. Speak to JasonDunwiel. He has just received his bib set and only had to pay R30 at the post office.

They have some excellent prices! is the sizing fairly similar to what you would get here?

As long as you guys are all aware that this is pirate clothing and not original. Thats why it is so cheap.

As far as I am concerned a imitaion jersey isnt a problem as the material is almost the same. The Bibs however dont have the same shammy so you really are getting screwed there.

I was not aware of that and thought the prices were low as it is 2010 stock?

Is it pirated or is it imitation?

We all know it's not original, that isn't the issue.
