BAMBOO frame

Hey guys

While surfing the net a bit I came across these bamboo framed bikes.
Would you ride and feel safe on one? I am not too sure I would.

I like the look of them, but not sure about the lifespan or long term durability though. Should be a comfy ride I think.

On any Calfee bike you will be safe, but hell it could be quite a hard and dead ride.

What the hairy scrot said about Calfee - you're not gonna break one of his bikes too easy.

 

RE the hard, dead ride, very far from it actually - I initially thought the same - but rode a friend of mine's Calfee bamboo road bike a few years ago. I'm not a roadie, but that thing felt awesome with some pretty awesome damping of some fairly kuk road surfaces.

I have ridden a bamboo made MTB, it was dead, dec dead.

But then again, it was not a Calfee
